Who are the individuals who carried out the attack? I didn't see it in the article.
I'm still waiting for the actual evidence they are using to make these determinations. The intelligence community has a vendetta against Russia so it would be nice to see the solid evidence provided. This was also piggybacked on a bill to punish Iran which is heavily supported.
People have asked for evidence that the Russians tried to interfere. A 97-2 vote in the Senate suggests to me that the intelligence services have made an overwhelming case to Congress.
From the article:
"Despite Russia's bellicosity, there's been no forceful response from President Donald Trump. The president has instead sought to improve relations with Moscow and rejected the implication that Russian hacking of Democratic emails tipped the election his way."
So it seems like no election machine were slurred, no votes were changed. The whole issue rest solely on the fact that the DNC was hacked and emails were leaked. The content of those emails has never been questioned. No "fake" emails were leaked. The DHC conspired ahaha net one of their own. Hillary accepted debate questions early (cheating).
Based on the available evidence all the Russians did was make the American people better formed. The individuals most guilty of election tampering are Hillary and the DNC.

All it suggests is that attacking Russia is popular. These politicians are fishing for votes. They flow with the political tides.

Perhaps. I'd like to see the evidence like anybody else, but if it is classified I do trust our system to deal with the issue. That's the whole poiint about this in a way: Trump should have trusted the system to work its way through this.
I don't trust anything I can't see. Trump upset the status quo and the political hacks in DC don't like it. The will of the people be damned.
All Comey did was....
You don't need me to finish. If you can't deduce what I was saying from the part of your post I quoted and changing the beginning, then that's your issue.
You are trusting the same agencies who were spying on us for years and then the same system who wants to kill the person who told us.
Jesus Christ. Whatever.
Nothing Comey said is going to affect the presidency, it makes Trump look bad, but was not a criminal act.
Comey told us a lot about Clinton as well.
Yeah, that doesn't mean crap as was pointed out. It just means that it is popular to say they did it and they want to be reelected.
Never said it did.
The will of some people.
And you'd rather trust the GRU and the FSB.
Yes, I do. If we don't want the intelligence agencies spying on us then we need to elect officials who'll put a stop to it, and it is a separate matter from the Russian investigation. In the mean time, all the people I know who have worked for intelligence agencies seem trustworthy. Certainly I trust them more than career politicians. Again, Trump should have allowed the investigation to run its natural course. His meddling is making his position ever more untenable. Trump's only hope at this stage is to calm down and realise being investigated is not the same thing as being convicted, and that even if the Russian did try to interfere with the election he is still the legitimate President.
Ahhhhh. Reductio ad absurdum at its finest.
get butthurt because he was fired and leaked memos AFTER getting fired.
This seems rather symbolic instead of actually accomplishing anything. If the US really wanted to punish Russia, then they'd go after It's two giant pillars of revenue. That is Liquefied Natural Gas and OIL. Take away Europe's dependence of LNG and OIL and you'd destroy them economically.
It took you that long to make the joke. You're losing your touch....
I am playing in two forums right now.........so.........
So you're not good at multitasking. Got it
