iPod touch Serious iPod Touch Problems

I've had these problems so far... and had it reset by itself at least 20+ times so far.

My Wifi used to work well until today when I got back home ... it would keep saying that it cannot connect to server, and then work for a bit, and then repeat again.

Problems:

1. Reset every time I leave the ipod touch alone when playing music or video.

2. the 'slide to unlock' unlocked itself when I sould just touch the screen.

This doesn't happen when it's NOT logged onto the wifi it seems though.

Has neone had these problems and were able to solve them?

Eather someone hacked your WiFi or you need to take your iPod back the the iStore.

my wifi seems to work fine with my macbook and pc.

Also, if hacking is the case, how would I find out if they did or not?

Also, do apple stores take returns? I remember they didn't have good
return policies when I bought my notebook couple years ago.

actually, i remember the web being really slow even on other wifis.

Ok, you will need to return it. It should be fine if you return it within 14 days of purchase. My iPod Shuffle broke and it was within its 1 year warranty so they replaced it there and then, they are good with iPods.

EDIT: Try a restore first.
