iPod touch SFTP - user name and password?

Well I am nearly there, but stuck at step 65 - "Use SFTP to upload INstaller.App into /Applications on your iPod"

I have started up WinScp and I assume the host name is either my local IP address - 192.168.1.3 or root@192.168.1.3

but putting in user name root and password alpine gets me an access denied message. Any ideas?

i am having the same problem i get a connection error message that says
"there was a problem while connecting to :22" any help would be appreciated

you guys need to connect to your IPOD - so you'll need your iPods IP Adress - not your local PC/MAC one

you dont enter the ip into cyber duck do you?

of course you do....

this is how it should look like in cyberduck (change the ip address to the one your ipod is using)
