Sharing with WinXP

I have OSX on my upstairs computer, running on the same network as my Windows XP computer downstairs.

I have been able to set up the Mac to get files from the XP, but now I can't figure out how to retrieve files on my Mac HDD from the XP.

Is Windows Sharing enabled in the Sharing pane of System Preferences on the Mac?
