I ordered my ipod on the 6th with standard shipping. My birthday is on the 11th and i was wondering if i would possibly get it by then. When i checked out it said it would leave the warehouse by the 11-12 but when you go to buy the ipod it says 24hours?

I got mine pretty quick... If I recall correctly, it was well under a week. Same situation, shipped over the weekend. There is a good chance you will get yours sometimes this week. By now, it should be in transit; you should have received some emails telling you the (hopefully FedEx) tracking number.

I ordered in the evening and it arrived 24h later.
I think it was because it were sent from the Netherlands, and I live in Sweden. The computers use to take more time for delivery.

First of all, you need to chill out. We don't all live in front of our computers 24/7. I gave you a response, but your follow-up posts definitely rubbed me the wrong way.
Yes, mine was standard shipping. No, I did not have it engraved. The bottom line is, you ordered it, it's in good hands. It will get there when it gets there. There's really not much you can do to speed it up, so just relax.

I ordered my 160GB classic on the 16th of September and got it in the morning on the 19th. I paid for the two day shipping.
Remember, just because Apple says it ships in 24 hours, doesn't mean YOU get it in 24 hours. It just means they will have it shipped within 24 hours.
I always pay for the quickest shipping option, even if the shipping costs as much as the item I am buying because there is no reason to be waiting two weeks to get something.
