Today I went out to buy my iPhone 4 and I came across this shop that was selling a 16GB factory unlocked white iPhone for HK$9,800 or US$1,300. I have no idea how they got their hands on this but it seems to be an actual phone made by Apple!

Check the headphone jack.

Could just be another faceplate change

1. Notice how the white of the home button is a different shade to the panel around it? lol

2. That back sticker is all sorts of wrong. The IMEI number IS printed on every box.

nice try though... next!!!!

That's cause it's fake. Clearly fake from the box. No IMEI (all x's), the model number is MR1/A, which is obviously fake since the black one 32GB is MC318LL/A, which is a very typical Apple layout. Also, Model A1332 is the name of my 32GB black iPhone 4.

Fake iPhone 4 is fake.

The shade difference between the button and the rest of the panel IS a problem apple has actually been having with the phone. So that doesnt discount it

The IMEI, on the other hand, does.

The code on the back of my black 32GB box is MC605B/A - same model number though, A1332.

I'm guessing it's a regional difference, yours being the US and mine being the European.

Nice job on the laser trick lol. I didn't take the pictures myself I just googled the shop's location after seeing the phone and found the pics. I wonder what would happen if I were to go there and scan it in front of them haha.
