I love writing click-bait titles.

Anyway, note to Apple:

SOME OF US ACTUALLY WANTED A 4" iPHONE EVEN IF IT WERE ONLY THE "C" VERSION!

I'm not big enough a person to walk around with a 4.7" phone in my pocket. It's just a tad too big. Why would you discontinue this line altogether? I thought maybe we had a chance at a smaller iPhone 6c... have you dropped that off the planet? or is there a 10 year refresh period or something?

The only thing small is the number of people that think this way.

Get the iPhone 5s then. Apple still offers that.

I currently have it and probably wouldn't have upgraded right away, I'd just have liked to know that in the future I'd have the option I most prefer.

Smaller than the number of people that prefer a larger phone, but not as small as many seem to think.

Yes, yes... we all know the struggle.

Start doing monkey bar hangs to stretch your fingers. Under 4.5" is dead. Companies aren't going to manufacture for only a handful of people.

I'm still hopeful a 4" (or at least something smaller than the 4.7" size) will be back with the iP7 revision. I know many people that absolutely prefer the 4" size and we all still have either a 5s, 5c or 5 (some even still rock a 4s). There are now loads of iPad variations and I think we will see a 4" phone again, just not on this S cycle.

The reality is there is likely money to be made at the "low end" with a small phone and older internals. Honestly, if they'd just given the 5S Apple Pay, I'd be golden for several years.

You know the answer to that question. Why even bother asking?
Because that obviously didn't fix the problem. One of the big things the 5s is missing is NFC. If we just wanted a smaller screen there would be no problem. If we want a smaller screen and the up-to-date tech, then we feel left out. And with Apple, feeling left out means you've probably been ditched.

Anyone else agree that iPhone 7 should revert back to a smaller design? Maybe the whole 6 and 6+/6S and 6S+ fiasco could be remembered as a slight hiccup in the trend of otherwise beautiful, intricate iPhone designs.
Nope. Totally disagree. 5'6" tall. I never want a small screen ever again.

Fiasco? Not even remotely true.

My 17 year old daughter is in the same boat. She's 5'0 and hates the idea of a bigger phone. She's been holding on to her 5c hoping Apple would release a newer model the same size. She changed her mind when she saw the Rose Gold 6s though!
