Yes that will work well, millions of people fall under the label anti-fa with hugely diverse motivations.Add to that no leaders and a peer to peer organisation, how are you going to identify them let alone ban them,

Are they being brought up on charges or prosecuted for any of their crimes, or are they being allowed to get away with this garbage.

Their name may be derived from anti-fascism but come on, the group we're discussing here is not one that by default would include anyone and everyone that disagrees with fascism.

It's common on this forum for the parochial view of Americans to be repeated over and over.If there is an organisation in the US with a hierarchical organisation and formal officers it deserves to be crushed and not only would they not be anti-
fa they would appear to be authoritarian.

Whether they are or aren't isn't relevant. The stigma would take them out of mainstream acceptance and make them less likely to succeed politically. They'd be viewed as extremists and a threat to our basic freedoms--as they should be.

I've always liked them. Claim to be anti-fascist but engage in brutality and fascism yourself. Classic!

If they are actually an organized group then sure. They are as much of terrorists as the idiot Bundy's and their antigovernment views.

BLM wasn't, what makes you think a group of majority whites would be labeled as one?

Admitting to yourself that you are a terrorist is the first step of recovery.

Well, look at the guy over in the UK that decided to take it upon himself to mow over a bunch of Muslims, should we then designate Nationalists as terrorists as well? So far anti-semitisim is up 86% here so it's only a matter of time.

Ever heard of appeasement ,the two obvious examples are Chamberlain and much more importantly the west's hands off approach to the Spanish Civil War where Franco,Mussolini and Hitler where allowed to practice their vile ideology with out a mild word of rebuke from the western nations.Real politick for millions of people is "if confronted by a facist kill them before they kill you".

Meh. I disagree with #antifa's tactics and overall strategy, but inciting a few riots is hardly worth the label of domestic terrorism.

That puts them in the same bucket with groups that murdered people, set off bombs in public buildings, or otherwise committed major acts of violence.

Meanwhile, groups like the Minuteman American Defense and the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, not to mention American Border Patrol (not the federal agency, but another nativist group) get by, despite that fact that two of its members murdered a man and his 9-year-old daughter in Arizona.

This is because while acts of violence were committed by members, these groups—however dim their ideology—are not trying to sow terror in the United States.

Thus far, conservatives don't seem to be taking this petition seriously.

While more than 1 million people have asked the White House to "Immediately release Donald Trump's full tax returns, with all information needed to verify emoluments clause compliance" and more than 220,000 signed a petition asking to "Preserve the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities" only 975 people have signed the petition against #antifa.
