Should I take my MBP to Apple Store if I cannot reproduce the problem?

    Hi,

    I have a 15" 2010 MBP running on Lion.

    Lately, it randomly blacked out (just the screen, everything is still on as I can still hear the fan running, the light on USB mouse is still on as well.

    As I said, it's random but I think it matched this one http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4088

    If you have the issues and your computer matches the system mentioned in the article, you should take it in for service. Even the article says it's intermittent, so you should have no issue for service.

    There is currently a quality program for the 2010 15" MBP with customers that have this stated issue. Intermittent Video/Black Screen.
