Should the 6+ have the option of a keyboard that can split in two like the iPads for easier typing?

Instead of the current keyboard with a bunch of symbols taking up space and squishing the keys towards the middle... why not have the option of the iPad feature where the keyboard can split in two for those who want it and simply have the letters on each side for easier typing without the gimmick keys taking up space?

Your thoughts?

Landscape mode is garbage on a phone and especially so on a 6 plus with the large bezels anyway. So while I guess it couldn't hurt its not usable.

I voted no, because I found that split keyboard was garbage in landscape mode on my iPad mini. In reality, because the document isn't pushed up by the keyboard, the sides just end up blocking whatever you want to type anyways. It's more useful in portrait mode, where you have more vertical screen space and can still move the keyboard down, but your thumbs don't have problems reaching the middle of your iPhone's keyboard anyways.

And in landscape mode on your iPhone, you are going to have even less vertical screen space to play around with anyways.

Could be useful.

The current widescreen keyboard is crappy to use, can't imagine anyone actually preferring it to portrait.

I don't have a 6+, but I thought about that as well and how it was weird that they didn't announce such feature back in September.
