It’s sort of a paradox... if you are an underdog, work hard and do your best, you can rise above and become president and cement your legacy. Likewise, if you’re an egomaniac born into privelige and sell your entire soul and family out while bragging about how you are quite literally better at everything than anyone walking the earth, you can be drug down to the depths of the presidency. Remember, Trump never wanted to run, but he decided to sacrifice himself and allow all of us the unheard-of privilege of voting for him.
If he somehow manages to escape Mueller and get re-elected too - who will be left to fill these positions. Sincerely. He's going through people like water.
He won’t get fully qualified people, but there will always be well connected people who are willing to risk jail because they think it would be a boost for their career to go from being in an entry level position to the president’s cabinet.
I doubt he’ll make it another two plus years. He’s giving thier hero Reagan a beating in the corruption aspect of things. Remember, as much as the GOP love Reagan, his cabinet was ten times worse than Nixon’s. Trump is doing wheelies around Reagan.
Evidently, the "best people" doesn't extend to law firms either...
As a veteran this scares the hell out of me.
Again we are reminded that Trump hires “only the best people”.
Wish we’d done the same.
Could this be a reward for Jackson declaring that this borderline obese POTUS who subsists on junk food is in excellent health?
Oh wait…. did I read that right, Trump's personal doctor is going to head the VA?!
You mean, this guy??
Wow, He got a makeover really fast. Impressive!
Scare the hell out of you? Why?
Nevermind I thought the guy was that kook trump uses sometimes.
Didn't know it was the regular whitehouse doctor.
I stand corrected.
POTUS should have just made Ben Carson the new head of the VA. He's a doctor, right? Only the best people. LOL
Soo.... you just instinctively got scared at the mere thought of anyone Trump picked?
He looks like Bannon after a bender.
Bannon looks like Bannon after a bender.
It's a legitimate reaction given Trump's track record. The major majority of Trump's picks have been disasters.
Veterans have been concerned with our services and care long before Trump. Trump campaigned on making improvements that are sorely needed in the VA but neglected by past administrations. I’m glad Shulkin is out. He was not delivering results good or fast enough.
The firehose of whining and bitching coming out of people’s mouth over certain changes clearly demonstrate their political bias. This is just another opportunity to childishly projectile vomit hate and criticism without taking the time to objectively determine if it was a good move.
The hysterical Left continue to do more harm of the country than Trump.
There are 320 million people in America, I’m pretty sure that Trump won’t have any trouble filling high paid positions with amazing benefits (free healthcare, pension etc.).
I’d of been happy if we had hired just a regular, morale person. As I’ve said many times, Trump is representative of our collective, dysfunctional selves. We got what we deserve. Maybe we’ll survive long enough to correct our mistake.
I noticed you didn't say anything about qualified people
Look for the 2018 White House Job Fair...
I would change "welcomed" to "encouraged"
