So, the pressure sensitivity is so low for me, that I need to adjust the pressure curve in apps that support it just to get a functioning tool. And even then, the range of pressure seems a bit off. I am using a 2016 15" MBP and the latest 12.9" iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil 2. Public Beta.
Anyone has a similar issue? You can test it in any app that supports pressure - Photoshop, Clip Studio, Zbrush, whatever. And yes, some apps allow you to adjust this pressure and that can solve the issue to a degree, but most (like Photoshop) don't.
Other then the pressure, Sidecar works well - both over wifi and cable.
