Just screwing around with my new 3G iPad and was looking in the settings menu under cellular data, there is a SIM PIN setting. I assume this is to either lock out the sim card or prevent someone from plugging in another sim into your iPad that they stole from you. The thing is the passcode I've set doesn't work as the pin. I've used 2 of the 3 chances. Any ideas?

Found the answer. What it does is lock the sim to prevent unauthorized data usage. The default pin is 1111.
