(Where I bought it from) if I opened it??? It's a great product don't get me wrong but I need to save my $$$ on other things at the moment.

So:

1) I'm within the 2 week return period (bought it today)

2) It's open

Can I just go in there and tell them I changed my mind????

Some stores may charge you a restocking fee, but you should be able to return it no problems. Check the back of your receipt, as it may have the return policy on it.

Receipt says 2 weeks... And why would some stores ask for a restocking fee and some not???

I'm in Southern Cali if that makes a note

Its just how they do it because the product was open and it has to be sent back and used for a refurbished unit so they are losing money. The restocking fee makes up that difference for them. It is 10% of the unit price. So if it was 199 its 19.90, 299 29.90 and so on.

All Apple Stores will charge the restocking fee (company policy). It's the price you pay for opening it. Think before you purchase.

lol. no. I was thinking of buying a used one and return it.

I guess the stocking fee was designed to combat this kind of loss and to discourage returns. lol.
