I use Apple CarPlay in my car. Until a couple of weeks ago, I could ask Siri questions while driving and receive answers.
One day, this suddenly stopped. Now, when I ask Siri anything other than the weather or directions, I only get the reply, "I can search for that when you've finished driving." This happens not only while I'm driving; it happens always when the phone is connected to CarPlay, also when I'm just sitting in my car.
I believe this has something to do with ChatGPT. Some time ago, I enabled ChatGPT in Siri. For that to work, I had to add the focus "Driving." However, I set "Driving" to activate only manually and also do not activate automatically while connected to CarPlay (see screenshot).
I think Siri alone is pretty lame, but I appreciate that I can use it with ChatGPT, which makes it...well, just ChatGPT and not Siri anymore, which is very good.
