Unless i am being extremely ignorant i was very disappointed that despite the advertisements Siri is incapable of searching for businesses in the UK, which i am very disappointed about.

I have no qualms with the phone, i think its absolutely brilliant and a welcome change from my HTC which is simply dreadful in comparison. I know you can download apps and check google if you want to find your local restaurant but i thought this was quite a clever part of Siri and was looking forward to using it, was very disappointed when it told me this wasnt possible.

Is this a problem that the UK government wont let them do it, or simply apple didnt think it worth their while to include this service outside the US, or something they might include in the future ?

It's due in 2012 in the UK.

It's been widely known that this is the case since launch.
