So, I've been trying to use siri to start playing a certain playlist, or a certain artist's songs, and it always comes back with either "Looks like Apple Music can't play that" or "Sorry, something's gone wrong, please try again". Playing a specific song seems to work though. Is this a known issue? A new limitation (because I am not an Apple Music subscriber)?

My taste in music is impeccable!

Thanks, I’ll file a report. You never know, sometimes it can be a way to fun el you in Apple Music

For me, Siri has gotten continuously worse at playing music. It used to be like

Me: Hey Siri, play [song title]
Siri: [it works]

Nowadays, mostly what I get is

Me: Hey Siri, play [song title]
Siri: [picks two random movies I have never heard of with titles similar to the song] Which one?

I'm not even using the iOS 14 beta.

I have this exact same problem with playlists. I get the the Apple Music can’t play that” response. I don’t even have Apple Music - the playlists are local on my phone.

Happened to me today too. I thought Siri was just trying to prevent me from listening to Bon Jovi, which honestly, she should.

Let's all make sure to report though so it gets fixed!

Honestly, even in iOS 13, it was hit or miss whenever I asked to shuffle certain things. It would play, but the shuffle part, not so much all the time.

I agree with Martinpa - it was also hit or miss with iOS 13 (I am an Apple Music subscriber BTW) and it still is. Can't really say but it seems worse under the iOS 14 beta.

Was giving me the same problem. If I told her to play Miranda Lambert Bluebird, or The Go-Go's Head over Heals, I get "Sorry, cannot find that in Apple Music." But if I invert the request, "Play Bluebird by....or Head over Heals by.." she finds it and plays fine.
