    OMG !!!

Now I am opening my wallet for an iPod Touch.

Question: What will happen if someone does a VOIP app?

The touch has no mic or speaker. So it wouldn't work on there.

I'm excited about that for the iPhone though because then I don't have to worry about getting a low minute plan. Skype app, I'll be your first customer.

Sorry to be such an idiot, but what does enabling VOIP over WiFi do?

it will allow you make and take calls over a VoIP network such as Skype or others. usually those calls are free for those on the same network (aka other skype users) or very cheap. Almost like using AIM voice chat but instead of using your phone minutes you use wifi which is probably free where your at.
