I'm using latest OSX with MacBook Pro late 2013 with ssd disk, with 2 OSX upgrades (Sierra + Mojave) I got slow boot infact Apple logo is keeping for several seconds before to start desktop screen. I noted this time difference.

Suggestions please?

Maybe "instant on" is not on.

From Terminal:

Code:
nvram -p | grep -i autoboot

If says %00, it's off. To re-enable, from Terminal:

Code:
sudo nvram AutoBoot=%03

Same here: iMac Pro 10.14.5
Since the update booting takes double the time.
It takes at least 10 seconds until the progress bar shows up.
