I'm running Snow Leopard at home on a Mac Pro and Unison for newsgroup access to the Giganews European servers.

Over the last few weeks when I'm home (weekends only), the download speed is never more than 20kbps. Usually it would be 200-300.

I have spoken with my broadband support team who have confirmed I'm not subject to traffic throttling. My connection is hardly used during the week, so I'm well within any fair use guidelines they set.

My line is clear of faults, syncs at 7M and is nice and fast for HTTP.

I access my Giganews account while working away from home, without any problems and have just tried my laptop (which I use away from home without any problem) on the home connection and its very slow.

So, where do I go next, any ideas?

Thanks :)
