sms tone disapears

every now and then the text message tone will fail to sound on my iPhone 5. Its like maybe once every two weeks or something. All other sounds are present including a woosh when i send the messages but incoming texts nothing. Even if i reselect the tone nothing. It only comes back when i restart the phone. Is this a bug in the Ios 6 as the speaker plays sounds perfect. Anyone else getting this.

I had the same thing happen a few times last week. For the longest time I have had r2d2 chirping as my text tone and heard the tri-tone last week, looked down and saw I had a new text. I went to select the r2 one and it was gone, tried syncing it to no avail. I had to select sync all tones, then switch to the other one with the r2 sound selected, and resync to get it back to normal.

Yes its a IOS6 bug. Myself and a couple of friends are experiencing the same thing.
