Mexican smugglers have been trying ingenious methods for years.

In 2011, National Guard troops working near Naco, Arizona spotted smugglers setting up a catapult made from a car trailer.

In 2016, Border Patrol agents working near Yuma, Arizona watched as a Octo-copter drone dropped bundles of marijuana into fields.

In 2012, Federal Policia nailed a group of guys in Mexicali, who were using an air cannon to launch bundles into Calexico from the back of a red pickup truck.

My favorite is the geniuses who built a ramp to drive over the fence in 2012, but managed to get their Jeep Cherokee high-centered on the top near the Imperial Sand Dunes.

Yeah, it's an air cannon, but whomever wrote the release for Federal Policia said "homemade bazooka."

Sure, but a trebuchet is harder to pack in the back of a van for "shoot and scoot."

At the very least, you need some kind of collapsable arm, and the ability to lock the tires so the vehicle doesn't roll back and forth.
