Hi,

I am very very new to the wonderful world of NES emulation, AND I LOVE IT.

kicking a$$ on mike tyson, and i havent been in training for over a decade.

my shift and option keys are getting a pounding, so i need to find a USB controller.

any recommendations? I have seen these SNES original controllers with USB, will they work with both NES and SNES emulation (I imagine you just calibrate A B only ...)

or are there other non-original cheap usb pads that are easy to find.

and how does one find games? this is only a borrowed powerbook and has jsut a few game on it. i want to add this to my mbp in the fall.

i feel 12 again.

If you have a spare Xbox controller, you can turn that into a USB Controller, just splice the plug off on the end, and cut a good length of a USB wire, strip both leads, and twist the same coloured wires (green-green, red-red, etc), but ignore the yellow wire, it doesn't do anything.

But if you want the authentic experience, use this guide.

An SNES -> USB converter exists, and works great under OSX. I purchased mines through Lik-Sang.
