I know the Series 3 has 16GB of storage compared to the first 2 watches 8GBs.

I also know Apple Watches 1 and 2 were limited to just 2GB of music synced.

Can anybody confirm the AW3 will let you sync 8GB of music?

If so that's a big push for me to upgrade (I still have a Series 0)

Thanks guys.

Seems like you can at least sync 8gb (on 16gb watch) to it, maybe more...

On mine I can only sync 2gb. I have version 3 Watch with LTE.

I wonder if it is limited when you have 2 watches synced to same playlist on the same phone. What I mean is i have version 2 Watch still synced to the phone.
I had created a playlist that now syncs to both watches. If I add more songs to that playlist it says to free up more space.

If I get some time I'll unsync that playlist from the version 2 Watch and then see if I can add more to the version 3 Watch.

Anyone else have similar experience?

You get an error message stating that the watch can’t hold more than two gigs, but if add the music it still syncs. Check my screenshot, LTE version here

it might also have something to do with the available storage. Only the Stainless Steel LTE Models and Ceramic Editions have 16GB of Storage afaik. Just a guess

All LTE models have 16GB of storage. All non-LTE models have 8 GB of storage.

Ok. Now for some reason I'm not getting the delete some songs message and I have over 2gb synced.
