I tried out a nightly in August and there was certainly a performance increase, but it wasn't particularly stable. Also, it erased my Firefox 2 profile. :/

So to the people who'vetaken the dive: yea or nay?

It's very stable, i've using it in many sites safari can't cope with, BUT most of addins don't work. So, the best feature of FF against Safari isn't usable for now. :apple:

Beta 2 is my default browser now, found no problems so far.

I find it much quicker than Firefox 2 & Safari, i don't use a lot of extensions but all the ones i do use have Firefox 3 versions now except Forecast Fox

It depends on what sites you are using. I can't use it to access a site I need to use for work (that is not WebKit compatible, so I have to use Firefox), so I'm stuck waiting until the final version. If you aren't in that position, however, I have found it to be quite stable.
