So I unlocked/jailbreaked the IPHONE I sold, but how do I transfer ITUNES account?? The buyer has recived the phone already and everything is fine. But when he plugs it to ITUNES, it's still under my name. So how do I switch it over for him. He has the phone now, what can I tell him to do? Thanks.

You can't transfer apps or music (I don't think).

Sounds like after you JB and unlocked, you should have set it up as a New Phone if you were going to sell it right away.

Have you activated a new phone with old phone sim card?

he just needs to restore it and set it up as a new phone. right click on the phone in itunes and select restore.

    is he on 3.0?
if so he can log out thru settings/appstore
and then log into his own account.

If he does that, won't he lose the JB and unlock ???

    Probably won't be happy then...

The phone only has its main apps. Basically I just unlocked it and jailbroke it and that's it. It has no music or any additonal apps. That's for him to do. But I guess he connected to ITUNES and it popped up my account for him to log into. So Im asking how to transfer to where he can log on.

He can either restore and lose the jailbreak and unlock.
Or leave it as is for now untill the ultrasnow unlock comes out shortly.
And then he can restore to 3.0 jailbreak and unlock and sync his own library.

So if that is the case, what did I do wrong? How should have I set it up?

YOu should have just jailbroke it and installed yellowsnow without syncing it to your library.
Once you synced up anything from your library the iphone took over your itunes account.

Ok, I'll just tell him to restore it and then walk him through it.

If I am understand you well...the buyer want to use his account instead of your account on itunes...if this is the case, he should click the account email in Itunes(main window) and then change your email to his own.

That's false, because I did one myself with the 3g I just sold and verified at a Tmobile store and tried Internet also.

Basically the phone I just sent out to him, when he connects to his computer/iTunes I guess my login info is required. I will tell him to try what you said.

The ultrasnow carrier unlock was released today for 3.0.
Maybe you had it unlocked with 2.2.1 and yellowsnow.
