1. The no headphone jack is cool with me I really want Bluetooth headphones, are beats X a good choice? They are on sale at Best Buy for 99$!

2. The 8+ has wide color gamut and True Tone while the 6s+ doesn’t, is it a noticeable diffenence?

3. How much better is the camera on the 8+ vs the 6s+?

4. How much louder are the speakers compared to the 6s+?

5. Do you think a spigen clear case is enough protection for the phone or is the back really fragile?

6. I have T-Mobile insurance, should I keep it or get Apple care?

7. Do you think the LCD looks bad compared to the X’s OLED panel?

1. Not no but H*LL NO, stay far away from anything beats. Get the airpods instead or bose

2. It's noticeable

3. A ton

4. A ton

5. Grab apple care +, 28.00 for front screen repair, but yes the Spigen case should be good enough. Just remember that even with a case on if the phone hits the right spot boom.

6. Apple Care +, it's better

7. Yes, BUT LCD is still good looking in it's own right

I hate the air pods :(

Do the beats really sound that bad? I listen to mainly pop and rap

The color gamut and TruTone issues depend on what you run on your phone. Personally I don't notice the wider gamut on my 8+ (I upgraded from a 6S+), but the TruTone makes a nice difference, especially at night.

The camera differences are noticeable--I find my pictures are sharper overall, and the various flash modes are very nice. On the other hand the camera isn't so drastically improved that it I would have upgraded just because of it.

The 8+ speakers are very different from the 6S+. They're very loud when cranked up. I once had my 8+ on max volume/speaker phone, and held it up to my ear without thinking. When the voice on the other ear started talking, there was a veritable blast of sound and my ear was ringing for minutes.

Sorry, I can't speak about the case or the insurance, just don't know.

I took my 8+ to the local Apple Store to compare it to the iPhone X. I was interested to note that I much preferred the overall size and shape of the 8+ screen over the X. And honestly, I kept the phones side-by-side for awhile while I played with them, and I just couldn't see a distinct advantage or difference with the X's screen. (Perhaps this will be different with the Plus size of the iPhone X.)

They're trash, you will pretty much have to get it replaced constantly. I have yet to meet a person that didnt go through at least 3 beats

I also prefer the AirPods, but another member mentioning beats having quality issues is somewhat true. I just don’t think they make a quality product and it’s all about the name. If you’re looking for more headphones with quality, I would look at Bose.

1. Beats headphones are for those who care nothing about sound quality and have tons of money to burn.
2. I would say yes, especially when doubled with Night Shift.
3. Much better, or slightly better. This is a bit subjective.
4. Reasonably louder.
5. Maybe a case with foam or some sort of mitigating materials could provide better protection for the back. I dont know.
6. I cannot comment cause I am not Tmobile user. But Apple Care is not bad.
7. I dont think so, especially when LCD technology has been so mature.

So over the past 6 months I’ve went back and forth with 11 different phones

I’ve went 7 Plus, 7, 8 Plus, SE, X, 6s, S8, Note 8, 7 Plus, SE (again), then iPhone 8. Whew!

What I’ve noticed between all the LCD AND OLED is that while there are differences ...LCD is still good.

Another thing is once I went to a 7 plus with louder speakers and all then back to a 6s or an SE the speakers are horrible. The speakers on the 7 and 8 series are that much better.

I have the Powerbeats 3, which have been my daily driver for about a year and a half. I did have to get them replaced once, due to a problem with device pairing, but the replacement set has been working great. I got them to replace a pair of Jaybird BlueBuds (excellent sound, poor build quality) that died on me a couple of days after the warranty expired.

Tmobile insurance includes Apple care plus

I upgraded my wife 6S plus to 8 plus but got it for a bargain, 10 day old 256gb for over $600 off retail.
After selling her 6S plus 64gb was only $200AUD change over, otherwise wouldn't of bothered.

You Can’t compare the AirPods and beats. They’re completely two different products. AirPods are not about boasting sound quality, Its more about convenience with technology and simplicity with the battery life. Beats is mainly about sound, but in a different form.

Wow, you're tech addicted :)

Within the last 3 months, I went from the 7 plus (sold for $500) to the note 8 (returned) to the s9+ (returned) and settle with the 8 plus 64gb from AT&T for $350+tax paid upfront in full.
