Twice today, first day this has happened my iMac has died. First time it just shut off, this time it went to the gray screen stating it restarted because of an error. Both time while playing the Mac version of Guild Wars 2. The second time I had been in game only about 30 seconds

Any ideas? I am not sure what I am looking at.

2011 model, i5 3.1ghz 12g ram 6970 1mb card. Still under Applecare, was hoping it would survive a bit more as I plan on upgrading in a month or two. I do keep timemachine up and running.

Your system is crashing when it gets to :

    com.parallels.kext.prl_vnic 7.0 15104.778994

Uninstall Parallels following the developers instructions and then test.

Not crashing in all games, it doesn't seem to care for GW2 mostly, but that is the most graphics intensive game I have short of XCOM.

Parallels is going by the wayside soon, mainly because it gets tiring being told to upgrade to version (BIG NUMBER) for forty nine bucks every 8 or so months.

Interesting that its stopping there, I wonder why that module loads as Parallels was not in use
