So is no one going to receive their link bracelet on 4/24?

Does anyone find it strange that not a single person has a 4/24 delivery estimate for the link bracelet? You would think that Apple has some ready on launch date, but every single person on here is saying 4-6 weeks or June. I expect the dates to change. I ordered at exactly 3:01 so I thought for sure I would get it on launch day.

I'm still hoping for a surprise early shipment.
 
It seams Apple didn't have ANY Link bracelets ready to go for the 24th which is why I went with buying the Watch with Milanese then ordered the Link separately. I'll be getting my Link April 29th.

Yea I dropped the $$ for the Space Black and my order went through the soonest I could load the app at 12:03 and I still have a May date range like everyone else. I am disappointed in Apple for seemingly not having ANY available for launch. In my opinion it shouldn't have been advertised as 04/24 because barely any stock was even available, it looks sloppy!!

I ordered the link bracelet separately, and I have a delivery window of 4/29-5/12. So it is coming very soon.

I have to say though, I had a chance to try it on at the Apple store today for the second time, and I'm just not sure if it is worth $450. I'll have to wear it for a week before deciding to keep it or return it.
 
Are you surprised being that each one takes 712 hours by hand to precisely fine tune each intricate piece of the most elaborate and well thought out and magical link bracelet ever?
 
what about the modern band... was just on apples website, all 3 sizes of band says unavailable.

strange????
 
I doubt it, but it's possible. What's interesting is that the link bracelet band alone is shipping earlier than the link bracelet with the watch. I have a 4/29 – 5/12 delivery window for just the band.

The hyperbole is strong with this one...
 
I placed my order by 8:02am UK time according to the Apple order confirmation e-mail (orders opened at 8:01am) and my space black SS watch with link bracelet is due for delivery between 12th May and 26th May.

I was on the store at exactly 8:01am and immediately I saw some watches like the Milanese loop were shipping for the 24th, but the space black SS link said 4-6 weeks from the word go.

They never had any available to ship for the 24th from what I can understand. As I doubt that they sold them all in under 10 seconds if they did have any.
 
Not surprising because the link bracelets (both standard SS and Space Black) had a 4-6 week shipping time right off the bat.

Not such a great idea if you're planning to buy AC+ for the Watch. If the link bracelet breaks, it'll cost you a cool $449.

I would think the band would at least have a year warranty on it.
 
what i'm not understanding still is why did they not have any black link ss available for launch.
 
Ditto...app didn't load until 1203pst an I completed my order within that minute for a 42mm black SS. Delivery in June.

I ordered the grey Sport right after and delivery is May 13 - 27.


I haven't heard of anyone getting a SS link with the first delivery date.

not saying its different in any way whatsoever. i am just shocked that they would launch a new product and not truly have one of the models available. especially one of the more expensive ones.

I did something similar for my husband's link band. Only, I ordered him the SS w/black sport band. 4/29-5/12 delivery.
