So is this the end of the tape to 3.5 car adapter?

    i admit one of my car uses this still so is this the end of that for the iPhone 7 series?

    The iPhone 7 includes a lightning to 3.5mm adapter. Why would you not just use that to connect to your tape adapter?

    That is true, but I won't be carrying the adapter everywhere tho.

    I use a bluetooth one in my truck, it's clunky to pair and the battery only lasts roughly 4 hours. It's a viable alternative if carrying around multiple adaptors is a no go or charging+listening is needed.

    just buy a $10 adapter and leave it in your car.. ya it sucks, but what can ya do? (aside from using a different phone)

    No, that ended about 8 years ago when they stopped putting cassettes in cars anymore.
    I'm not going to blame iPhone 7 for that.
