So I know this might be a bit of a ridiculous questions but I don't several Google searches with no answer here. Anyway, I have an iPhone 6 Plus that I have not synced with iTunes because I traditionally have been using iCloud for all backups and have been able to download everything from the iTunes store and AppStore directly to my iPhone. Well, now I want to synch music that I have on my Mac to my iPhone however whenever my phone is connected and iTunes is open, the only 2 options I have are to set up as a new iPhone or restore from backup. Which the backups are several years old because no iPhone has been synced in quite some time. I'm not even necessarily trying to back my phone up to my Mac via iTunes, I honestly just want to transfer music from my Mac to my phone. My Phone is recognized by iTunes but that is it. I can't transfer music or anything until I have a back up but I don't want to start all over or use an old backup.

I'm sure this is a noob question but I haven't really used iTunes in quite a while. Is there something I am missing here? Several Google searches have gotten me no where.

OK, so I've never really resolved this issue but I think I have no found the answer to my problem. When I attempt to perform a backup it gives me 2 options "restore from back" usually a MUCH older back up from years back or "set up as new iPhone". I wish to do neither of these and quite honestly just want to sync music from my Mac to my iPhone 6 Plus. When I go to File and devices in iTunes, "Back up" is unavailable. It seems like the only solution is to disable iCloud on my Mac and all should be well. Is there a way to sync my iPhone using iTunes without having to disable iCloud on my Mac? Or is there a way to transfer music wirelessly from my Mac to my iPhone?
    Thanks for any help provided!
