So Now...New iPod?

iPhone is going to be released Friday, we all know that, but now that it's here does anyone have any estimates on when they think an actual full screen iPod will be released? I was thinking maybe October for the Christmas season, but I'd hate waiting that long - my Nano fits about 350 songs.

Only reason I asked here was because I'm trying to justify the cost of the iPhone if a new iPod had been hinted at in the near future.

Oh...I see. That mainly depends on how much music/video you have and how often you listen to or view it's content. If you're a person that likes to have everything always at your figure tips, you might be better of with a 6th gen. iPod. If you can manage your content through playlists and syncing, and would use the email and internet functions often, then the iPhone is probably a better match.

FWIW, I agree with your time frame of October, right before the holiday season seems about right.
