A shiney clean black is very pretty. A smudged black is ugly. I'm putting Invisible Shield on mine so it remains pristine looking all the time.

The apple logo pops more IMO, on the black which is cool.

There was no doubt I was getting the Black, saw a bunch of people coming out with the White and it looked good!! When I went in the Apple store and had them both in my hands I went with the White.

I didn't make a final choice until the apple rep asked which one I wanted. I went with the white. I think the cool white box did it for me

I've found that although you can see smudges on the black, they don't seem that noticeable to me. My Krzr shows them worse than my iPhone does.

It's been quite a journey...

but, after no less than 11 hours on Friday, 2 hours yesterday and another 1 hour today - I ***FINALLY*** have a fully functioning 16GB White for myself and an 8GB black for my wife...

It took 8 hours to get inside the store on Friday and then 3 hours inside while attempting to port my numbers from Alltel - which resulted in no less than 3 bricked phones. They never could get my ported number to "attach" to a 16GB - but after 2 hours dealing with AT&T and Apple yesterday they finally got them working... or so I thought.

I got home last night and realized that my wife's 8GB was not receiving data - only voice. Another hour at AT&T today and everything is finally working as it should (THANK YOU! Mike at AT&T in Pineville, NC!!!)

It was a miserable experience but the wife and I are both thrilled with the phones!

I picked up the white 16Gb model (obviously). The dock itself is still in white color

Managed to score a white one yesterday. Actually, my wife got it for me - she was picking up my daughter from Apple Camp & GarageBand for Kids at our local Apple store and they had just gotten a shipment in. They had been sold out completely for nearly a week.
