I've been looking for a while now and haven't found any reliable website or service that can unlock my 4S 16gb that is locked to Softbank. Can anyone confirm or deny that anyone is doing it that has any kind of reliability? I did find a service on Facebook called 'SoftBank Unlock' but haven't been able to confirm if they are legit or not.

    Thanks!

Softbank is a CDMA carrier, right? Well, if they function the same way they do in the u.s. you can just pop in a foreign SIM card into the slot and it will use that network. So just put in your AT&T or T-mobile SIM card in and your iPhone will recognize them as a foreign GSM network and run on it!

I also thought it was a CDMA carrier..., but if it's a gsm a carrier you should be able to find a site that factory unlocks SoftBank iPhones but it will be alot more expensive then the atnt factory unlocks.
