[SOLVED]Excessive Lag on 10.13.1 PB2

Spotlight is always in using significant energy
I have a macbook pro 15 2015 pretty much maxed out except gpu
Anything I can do to fix this issue?

It eventually went away but it comes back at times

My Macbook crashes every time I put it to sleep, wow this beta is horrible

I saw this more with the 2016 models as well...PB3 is out for dev and it may address your issue

It actually did, they also fixed the sleep-shutdown bug
