(Solved) SheepShaver Issue

I finally got a ROM for SheepShaver, and was able to install Mac OS 8. I'm trying to change the default alert sound, but whenever I go into the "Moniters and Sound" panel, SheepShaver completely crashes. It just quits. I've tried numerous things to prevent this, but nothing works. Does anyone know how I could get around this?
