I have like around $100 to spend on an external monitor, or around $200 (after selling my current iPhone) to get an iPhone 4S.
Which should I buy? The external monitor would be nice for when I make YouTube videos, which is only once a week or less, but still the extra screen would be nice.
But also the iPhone 4S would be very nice too; I have an iphone 4 now, so I'd get a faster processor and Siri, as well as future iOS 8 compatibility. SO, which one?
Thanks in advance

A weird question to ask... how do we know?

Also, should I buy headphones or a mouse?

IMO the 4s isn't enough of an ugrade from the 4. I had an iPhone 4 until last February and a number of friends and family had the 4s. True, it was a little faster and the camera seemed a little better, but not $100 better.

Since you don't *really* seem to need either, save your money until you can afford a 5s. That's what I did - it's a big upgrade that is definitely worthwhile. :)

$100 to spend on a monitor is going to be of questionable quality.

As others have said the difference between the iPhone 4 and 4s is pretty minor. Siri is not that useful IMO. The speed and camera upgrades are not going to be that much better for you.

I'd just save it until you have more cash to spend.

Okay thanks everyone for the advice; I decided against the 4S since it was too minor of an upgrade, but i found a good Asus monitor for $100 that will work great for when I want more screen space. :)
Thanks,

Personally, neither.

If you are only buying a monitor to spend $100, then it is not a smart buy.

You would be better off waiting and saving more money to get a newer iPhone than the 4 or 4S. I have used both a 4 and 4S and normal day to day activities, there is no real benefit.
