A while ago I noticed that some You Tube videos won't play on full screen mode when playing them from my MPB (using Safari), but if I play them from my PC (using Chrome) it's ok. Any ideas why is that happening?

actually the trick is to join and then immediately leave the html5 trial.

html5 playback in Safari has problems with fullscreen.

I uninstalled Flash completely and use this YouTube5 extension in Safari. It forces all YouTube videos to play as HTML5 even those embedded on other sites. All the vids I tested seem to work fine full screen. You will need to leave the YouTube html5 beta for this to work.
