I heard Seth Rogan say that he was shocked that the movie could cause an uproar, as it was just a goofy comedy.

IMO, any time you center a story around the assassination of an actual global leader, you're treading on thin ice.

It certainly appears to lack in good taste. Maybe they should've fictionalized the leader and the country a bit.

I hope they just delay it a bit and still release it sometime. I didn't really have much interest in it, but with how mad North Korea is getting about it I kind of want to see it now.

I'm not a big fan of Rogan and Franco although some of their stuff is funny but when I heard this was being made it kind of made me smile because of the angst I knew it would cause the Kim. Just really surprised that it would come to this.

Oh I agree, Seth Rogen isn't funny to me.

Kim Jong Un should announce he's seeding "The Interview" on the Pirate Bay. That will really drive Sony crazy.

It will only serve to embolden Kim and his whole regime to think they're in the right to suppress through these sorts of successful attempts at censorship.

    "after attacks were threatened"

Wait, American theaters actually thought that North Koreans were going to attack them?

If not for the release of those bad, bad emails from the Sony Execs, I would almost believe that this is the best viral marketing campaign ever.

I've heard so many people say that they wouldn't want to see it normally, but now they would go just to piss of NK.

I think Kim Jong Il was a bit more sane than Kim Jong Un, not that either of them actually is sane...

Sony gave in because the cinema chains wouldn't show it.

********. Sony was afraid to make a decision and they waited until the theater chains made it for them. The best thing that could have happened would be record breaking crowds and lines on Christmas Day. Nothing would say **** you to "terrorists" more than that. Of course, Americans are a scared bunch, by and large.

Pretty disappointed in Sony. You can bet the fuhrer is going to use this as propaganda telling his subjects how powerful NK is.

Behold our handsome, smart, athletic, virile God Leader's might as he bullies American theaters into not showing a movie!
