    Will be called 4Gs. They are not going to label it 6 and will probably due away with the numbers afterward.

    The 3gs was the 4th generation. The 4 is the 5th.

    The 3gs was a spec bumped 3g, the 4s is a spec bumped 4. Period.

    3GS was 3rd generation, iP4 was the fourth.

    Get your facts straight. Period.

    iPhone 3G (2nd gen)
    iPhone 3GS (3rd gen)
    iPhone 4 (4th gen)
    iPhone 4S (5th gen)

    Next iPhone could be called iPhone 4G. Not sure if the general public are dumb enough to confuse a 4G with a 4S yet though....

    Who knows what Apple is up to.

    What I do know... is that I am ready to buy the next iPhone that is well done, properly tested, and the product of good quality control.
