sorry your text messaging service is currently unavailable due to insufficient funds

    recently bought an iphone 3GS, it's unlocked to any network.

    but - ever since i activated it, i keep getting an error message saying

    "sorry your text messaging service is currently unavailable due to insufficient funds"

    every couple of minutes! any idea how to stop this error message popping up?
    its annoying the hell out of me.

    thanks for replying, activated it on virgin UK
    and now it's sending those messages in bursts of 3... i have to press okay three times before the message goes away
    this is getting ridiculous!

    You might be best calling them ... is it prepaid? Do you have funds in your account/is your bill paid?

    its a pay as you go sim

    Im on 02 and i used to get an automated text message stating my payg balance after every text i sent.

    Mighty annoying.

    Quick call to 02 customer services and it was sorted......

    are you getting the hint yet...... :rolleyes:
