I haven't had a problem watching movies through Apple TV from the Apple Store until just recently. As I watch, about every two to four minutes, the sound cuts out for a second. While it happening once is fine, it keeps doing it throughout the movie. I have switched and watched the same movie through Netflix or Disney+ and NOT had this problem. I know, "Why am I complaining if I can watch the same movie without using Apple Movie?" Maybe I want to buy or rent one before it comes out on streaming or a movie isnt available on them. The point is, I can't get the sound to not cut out. I've also streamed using my Macbook Air through the Apple TV and I've used the Homepod or a stereo but it still persists. I've rebooted everything too. No dice.

what are you using for sound playback (TV speakers, soundbar, etc...)

The only thing I can think of is a lot of the apple movies are in atmos, while the others are typically dolby.

it could be an HDMI issue, sometimes unplugging and re-plugging the cable can sort those out.

I can try a new cable I suppose. I was using a Yamaha entertainment system but I use the HomePod now. I've tried both and it didn't change.
