Sound leveling?

I like to make playlists on my itunes (A lot of playlists) but when i compile the songs they are all different volume levels, this is very annoying and i was wondering if there is a program to batch level around 20-30 songs or so.

I would like to make the entire music collection the same (7,000 Songs) but i think this would take to long with any program. The Ipod Sound check setting doesn't work very well and for some reason can make the some song volume differences even greater and i usually use my iMac to listen to the music anyway.

Soundcheck doesn't work very well at all. If you have Windows available to you, check out MP3 Gain.

Thanks i'll try it. Are there any normalizers i can use in osx?
