For several months after i bought my macbook pro i left file vault on, only discover when i tried to install pro tools it wouldnt work. so i turned off vile fault.
Today almost a 8months later, i ran Disk inventory to see if i could reclaim any lost space.
to find there was a disk image called Andrew.sparseimage taking up 14.5gb of my internal drive.
i have copied it to my external drive just incase, but should it be ok to remove it??
any help appreciated as i could do with the extra space.
