Get back to me in 15-18 months to see if she is still an elected member of the House. I suspect there will be a ton of establishment money going into this race to primary her out.

Or back bartending or as an MSNBC host...

I'd absolutely love to see her as speaker of the house...... It would be absolutely fan-tas-tic!

It will never happen. Pelosi is a vampire. She can't die.

You’re terrified of her clearly. The desperation to get her out of the House.

What part of 'I'd love to see it happen' are you struggling with?

The whole part where you’re saying she won’t stick around.

Do try and follow the thread please as it's not that long...........

    Here is a contextual recap:

Your response quoted him, my response was in line with the original comment that you quoted and your response to it.

I've been very clear here that I hope she gets speaker and I've been very clear in the past that I hope she continues to get reelected.

Your original comment stating that I am terrified of her is hogwash....

    Questions?

You really think AOC can’t win a D+50 District when she beat the third most powerful democrat in the house to even be there? Really?

Even if she somehow loses the primary she could easily win as an independent.

Are you just being intentionally obtuse or do you genuinely not see that he doesn’t care?

Try reading what @Herdfan said again........

Here it is again but I honestly should not have to keep posting what's been said for other to follow along as the thread is not that long...

I agree with bold.... Will it succeed? Who knows....

If you want to minimise the impact of AOC you’d stop her becoming speaker (and perhaps chair of committees) - perhaps running more centrist candidates with solid business credentials.

You don’t try and primary her when you’ll most likely fail.

And yet I said nor inferred absolutely NOTHING of the sort....

Just stop making accusations and things up out of thin air please and then attributing these made of statements and accusations onto others... It's disingenuous, adds nothing to the conversation and is getting very tiresome...

Why do you keep bringing up this idea that she might not be in the house for long?

And I’m just explaining what the establishment politicians would do to minimise her impact.

    B) That was already explained to you, the context explained to you the flow of that conversation laid out for you..

Per forum rules, I am waiting on the source to back your claims up

Why do you think that? Yes she took out a long-term establishment candidate. But he was also an old white guy who probably didn't see her coming and didn't campaign hard. Also, she only got a little under 16,000 votes in a district with 691,000 members. So it's not like she slayed it.

Now forward to 2020, while you like to think the GOP is scared of her, and maybe they are. But not as much as the Dems are. Nancy can't control her, she is a walking gaffe monster and her ideas won't fly in fly-over country. So I expect big money to hit that race with a legit candidate who will check all the right boxes as well.

She won a District with an old white guy who was widely tipped to be the next speaker after Pelosi.

And if you look at what’s actually happened Pelosi has put AOC on lots of powerful committees and AOC has generally behaved herself.

With trumps impeachment she mentioned it once and moved on.
