Spigen cases have been my goto for a while now anytime I need a new case, so when I saw the some of the designs for the new iPhones I knew I would give them a shot again. They ended up having a few I wanted to try, but the one that intrigued me the most was the Neo Hybrid Metal Space Gray. For a while it had been listed as a pre-order for end of September availability, but last week I saw Amazon had gotten some in stock with prime shipping so I went ahead and ordered one, because why not. Hopefully I will not run into any fitment issues when the phone arrives, but if so, it will be a lesson learned.

To start off, I really enjoy this case. I have been wanting a larger iPhone for a while and this size is about perfect for what I want as a daily phone. The aluminum band around the outside feels nice and smooth, while the textured back adds a good amount of grip. The pictures may not show it well, but it is a very nice looking case that doesn't come off as overly flashy. The Space Gray color is pretty close to my iPad air, but there could be an slightly different color to it that is not a deal breaker. Overall I am really happy with the feel and look of the case. I also have two other spigen cases (Slim Armor CS Wallet case and regular Neo Hybrid) coming that I was able to get a great deal on, so I may try to take some pictures when they arrive.

My three concerns for this case are how will that raised camera ring look/fit, how will the aluminum affect signal reception, and how will the aluminum look after a bit of wear and tear. Guess I will see when the phone actually releases.

Here is a link of Spigen iPhone 6 cases for 4.7" mode that I saw. http://www.spigen.com/brands/apple/iphone/iphone-6/iphone-6-4-7.html[2]

Love my slim armor for my 5. Will probably get the same. Not digging their new pearlescent looking white, vs the old flat white =/
Will see if Apple has anything at launch.

I wouldn't go near a metalized case, not worth the signal hassle.

Hope they got that case and guessed all the dimensions correctly for you... Lol

I loved my NeoHybrid case for the 5/5s. I'm now using the Apple's leather case because I wanted to switch things up, but I'll definitely consider the NeoHybrid for when I get my new iPhone.

Someone asked for a comparison to a 5/5S as far as thickness. It is slightly thicker, but not by much.

Thankfully, it appears that they'll have another version of the new NH without the Faraday cage and logo cutout.

I don't like the cutout much, so I think I might go for the Neo Hybrid classic for my upcoming iPhone 6.

Can you remove the inner TPU sleeve? I don't want the cutout.

The "diamond cut" edges don't look as polished as Spigen portrayed in their pics.

Just picked one of these up from Amazon for $3.49, hehe...worth the cost even if I don't end up liking it!

Maybe not. The iPhone 6 has antenna bands on the back of the phone.

This is what I am hoping. I know having a aluminum cage around your device does not help any, but I feel a lot of the bad press came from iPhone 4 days where the antenna was around the edge and you were essentially grounding the antenna out with a metal case.

Guess we will find out in a few weeks.

Received my two other cases that I got from the $3.49 spigen sale on amazon.

I now have:
Neo Hybrid Metal - Space Gray
Neo Hybrid - Gunmetal
Slim Armor CS - Gunmetal

The regular Neo Hybrid feels really nice in the hand. It is not really any thinner then the neo hybrid metal(maybe a little), but the plastic is rounded off which makes it feel much thinner. The chrome buttons look a little ehh to me, but its not a deal breaker.

I bought the Slim Armor CS because I thought it might be nice for vacations or places where I don't want to take a wallet around. It feels okay. The wallet section does add a bit of thickness and it also doesn't feel as solid. I like the idea of the case, but it will not be my everyday case due to the thickness. I've also never been a fan of TPU case material on the buttons.

I will be using one of the Neo Hybrid cases, either the normal or the metal, but I will wait to see how they feel with the phone installed in them.

Can anyone confirm if bigger lightning cables will fit with spigen cases? I have a 6ft amazon basics cable that wouldn't fit my last cheap bumper and would be a deal breaker for me. I'm wondering specifically about the Neo Hybrid EX model if anyone can help me out.

Nice. I got the Neo Hybrid Metal - Space Gray and Slim Armor space gray.

Not huge fan of cutout - wish it had film protector under it like one spigen has. But I like the clean lines of the aluminum band more than I'm worried ahoy the naked cutout.

Thanks for the great pictures. I missed out on that sale but still not bad at the current amazon price. I really hope Spigen's corporate espionage team got the right info on the dimensions before making all these cases!

I love the aluminum bumper of the metal version but hate the logo cutout. Wish they made the metal case with a plain black back like the classic Neo Hybrid.

I know the base portion of the two cases look a bit different. Do you think I can use the metal band with the classic's TPU back?
