As far as I can tell Splinter Cell runs on the Unreal Engine. Does anyone here have any tweaks that will make the game run better. Overall on my setup it does well at 1024x768 with everything on the highest setting. My main concern is to run in windowed mode, up some of the caches to suit a machine with higher memory, and reduce Mipmaping since usually it's unnecessarily high. I looked at the SplinterCell.ini file and made some changes on a Copy of it and they did not seem to work since full screen is still on. Suggestions?
