Spore Origins' Level 28, 29, 30 are IMPOSSIBLE
i took 2 hours playing 28 and still am trying to not die from the stupid big monster dude. Does anyone have any advice in advancing in the game?

How do you know 29 and 30 are impossible if you're still stuck on 28?

i'm going on an assumption that they will be just as hard.
AND, if I don't pass level 28, then level 29 and 30 will never be reached. hence IMPOSSIBLE :D

man i thought level 7 was hard looks like im in for some frustrating times:eek:

Ha, I've just picked this up and can't keep away from the "cuttlefish" type predators, nor find anything small enough to eat on level 4! Mind you, I am trying to play this on the QT at work, so prob needs a bit more concentration ;)

Edit - ok spent some time with this now and come to a conclusion - this game is good looking but boring. Swim around (a lot), eat or be eaten (or stung or spiked), over and over again. Limited evolution capabilities, no link to the main game and too little variation to warrant revisiting. A bit of a waste of 5 quid really (IMHO)

oh i'm actually on level 29! its kinda wasting my time now seeing how I can't beat it. Also we cant skip around the evolution pool by playing previous levels. :( but the game has awesome graphics and the first 28 levels were fun :D

I'm finding it frustratingly fun. I can't stop playing even though I don't think it is extremely entertaining, I just want to conquer it. How do we earn extra evolution points? I manage to only earn 1/4 if I'm lucky and I don't know what I did to earn the one point. I have a pitiful creature and am on level 15.

You automatically earn one evolution point every 3 levels. "1/4" means that you're probably around level 12, and now have up to 4 evolution points total, and 1 more that you can spend in the creature editor.

I think around level 4 you're supposed to start breaking the bubbles or the big bubbly fish, and when you break them a bunch of the little ones come out.

I'm stuck on level 30. The other levels with the big fish, you are supposed to make the medium sized fish charge into the big guy. Read the tips... they are helpful.

But on level 30, I haven't found any "eggs" that I'm supposed to grab. Anyone seen the eggs in question?

Ah... I figured out the last level. Though I haven't completed it yet. I was going after the wrong "giant".

Look for a big jellyfish, grab shields and pull it's tentacles out.

Well I finished it, took about an hour total to play through. I'm missing 1 achievement trophy. Anyone have a list of them?

OKAY. FINISHED GAME.

LEVEL 29:
go hit the medium sized fish by the back and make it angry red to attack the big guys. avoid the big guys cuz you will die. You only have to kill 2 and eat all the smaller things to advance.

LEVEL 30:
Go get protection from various places. Then go straight up to the top right and go behind the jelly fish. a red tentacle is then attached to you. go away from it and it pulls off. Keep pulling tentacles off until they are all gone and the eggs will be dispersed onto the screen. Make sure you have protection or else you cannot pull the tentacles and you will die from encountering the jelly fish.

THere was no "cut-scene" as demonstrated at the SDK event where your customized spore will come out of the ocean onto land. They simply didn't have time to put it in maybe? whatever. The game was much more boring than i thought it would be. They should add more mini games to it that doesn't involve swimming around, etc. Hopefully they read our comments :D

Do you only need to install/grow one ability? For example is it better to put 10 shields on or there is no difference from 1 or 10?

Thanks for the tips, you motivated me to finish the game! It took me pretty damn long, post up your creature!

I'm stuck on 28 too. :D

You need to get those big fish things to attack the fat ass. I've tried lures and all kinds of stuff to get them near the big dude but it almost impossible.

On a side note to other people stuck on lower levels if there is no 'food' around you need to keep attacking some the larger predators and they will explode in to 'food'.

If you have enhanced eyes you can usually see the food inside the other bigger creatures.

I think there is one level (maybe more), where you have to run around and look for fish that "fart" out bubbles that you eat to level up.

I got up to level 29 without any major problems, but really struggled with 29. I killed off one of the big guys, but it took quite a few tries. Then I gave up on that and got full hearts just by swimming through the green stuff and cuddling with the blue fish. I hoped that would make me big enough to eat those other guys since I could eat them in earlier levels, but sadly it didn't. :( I'm excited to try your hints when I get home.

I don't think the number of shields matters, but I don't have anything to back that statement up. It does seem like spike and mouth placement might make a difference though.

is there any replay value to this game? If not then its definitely not worth 10 bucks to me.
