That has to be a 2.5" SSD, right? I mean, there aren't even any 256GB 1.8" SSD's on the market (for general consumption/in computers that are shipping) yet, are there?

Not really a fair comparison as they're testing against the 64GB Air SSD which I believe is PATA based. They should compare it to the Rev C AIR sata based 128gb SSD

This article just makes me want to cry:

Gizmodo: Toshiba Portege R600 Review: 512GB SSDs Are The Bee’s Knees

The Air did fine on the Geekbench scores, but take a look at the SSD Read/Write tests. Shameful.

Not sure why anyone would be upset considering the SSD in the Toshiba costs more than the entire MBA computer lol.

comparing a 2.5 SATA to a 1.8 PATA with 2y old controller technology to boot. They aren't comparing anything useful, just trying to justify the $3500 price tage of a plastic pc with a $2000 SSD, I'd hope it performs that well considering the price of the SSD.
