SSD speeds in new Toshiba blowing away MBA

What I find interesting is that the disk performance looks to have been done on a Rev A if I am to believe the 64G SSD as indicative of that while the GeekBench scores were done with a high end Rev B (or is it the lower end Rev C with hard drive).

That has to be a 2.5" SSD, right? I mean, there aren't even any 256GB 1.8" SSD's on the market (for general consumption/in computers that are shipping) yet, are there?

It does use a 2.5". My problem with the Protege is the flex.

Not really a fair comparison as they're testing against the 64GB Air SSD which I believe is PATA based. They should compare it to the Rev C AIR sata based 128gb SSD

Not sure why anyone would be upset considering the SSD in the Toshiba costs more than the entire MBA computer lol.

comparing a 2.5 SATA to a 1.8 PATA with 2y old controller technology to boot. They aren't comparing anything useful, just trying to justify the $3500 price tage of a plastic pc with a $2000 SSD, I'd hope it performs that well considering the price of the SSD.
