This article claims that the state department gave 9 million dollars to a nonprofit run by John Kerry's daughter. It doesn't sound illegal but it certainly looks unethical. I wonder if Kerry got ideas from the Clinton foundation :D.

Just another example of how corrupt our government and leaders are.

You do know what "seed global health" does as an organization right?. They provide health professionals to train others in underdeveloped countries. Despite any implication of nepotism or any other impropriety, as secretary of state, that's a sound investment in US public relations and doing good in the world.

Democrats use their foundations to help people. Trump uses his to grift money from others and buy portraits of himself.

Something that has nothing to do with Trump, yet his name must be mentioned. Ugh.

but is it ethical to give out non bid contracts to your daughter's organization ? Like I said earlier, I doubt it's illegal but it's certainly unethical.

John Kerry is such a gold-digger. Never worked a day in his entire life. Great.

Yeah it may be a well intentioned project but that should not excuse the potential conflict of interest, nepotism, poor ethics and possible illegal actions.

As long as they can reasonably justify at the time why they chose that specific foundation over all the others and the charity checks out to be a responsible organization, then I otherwise don't see a problem except...

The cardinal rule of never mixing family and business.

I read this last night. It's sad how easily people become corrupt. Maybe he and Pig Hillary can share a cell.

Right. Who cares if they steal that money in order to help others?

Claims? If you're not certain about it, you shouldn't make it sound that way in the title.

John Kerry made his fortune the old-fashioned way: he married into it.
